Join us by Zoom on March 11, 2021, at 4:00 p.m., for The Ninth Judicial Circuit Historical Society's special 9th Circuit Cowboy presentation. The presentation will center on two-time Academy Award winning filmmaker Terry Sanders's film "9TH CIRCUIT COWBOY, The Long, Good Fight of Harry Pregerson." The film celebrates the life of Circuit Judge Harry Pregerson, who served on the Ninth Circuit for almost half a century.
The event costs $25 and includes access to the film and 1.0 hour of General MCLE Credit. Participants will have a week to watch the film from the comfort of their homes before the event. The presentation will feature filmmaker Sanders in conversation with Judge Harry Pregerson’s children, Judge Dean Pregerson (C.D. Cal.) and Katie Rodan. They will discuss Judge Pregerson’s judicial philosophy and his roles as a mentor, an ethical leader both on and off the bench, and a father. Sanders will address the process of capturing all of that in his outstanding new documentary.
