On Thursday, February 11, the FBA San Diego Chapter held a Virtual Brown Bag with the Hon. Daniel E. Butcher, San Diego's newest U.S. Magistrate Judge. Judge Butcher kindly spent an hour sharing insight into his background, career, and time on the bench during the COVID-19 pandemic. Judge Butcher also introduced his two law clerks and courtroom deputy. His staff shared best practices for communicating with chambers and discussed Judge Butcher's procedures for resolving discovery disputes and handling bond motions.
