The San Diego FBA is delighted to partner with the San Diego Natural History Museum and the San Diego chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers for a special Nat Talk featuring Ninth Circuit Judge M. Margaret McKeown on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. Judge McKeown will discuss her new book, Citizen Justice: The Environmental Legacy of William O. Douglas Public Advocate and Conservation Champion.
The late U.S. Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas was the longest-serving justice from 1939 to 1975. He became a powerful leader in the environmental movement and left a legacy that is celebrated in Citizen Justice. Judge McKeown will highlight Douglas’s many contributions to the environment and explore the politics and ethics of his advocacy work. Citizen Justice will be available for purchase at the event (while supplies last), and Judge McKeown will sign books in the Museum store following her talk.
We’re thrilled to partner with The Nat and ABTL on this event and hope you can join us for this thought-provoking program.
Tickets are $9 for museum members and $12 for non-members. Doors to The Nat open at 6 PM, with the talk beginning at 7 PM. Buy your tickets today!
